Following Up

Once you are home, we will follow up with you to see how your recovery is going or if there is anything we can do to improve the patient experience at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Follow-up Phone Calls

You may receive a follow-up phone call a few days after discharge to see how you are doing, if you are clear about your discharge instructions and if you have any comments or suggestions about the service you received while you were in the hospital.

Patient Satisfaction Surveys

After discharge, you may be mailed a patient satisfaction survey. Please complete and return it. Your answers and comments will help us make improvements or recognize staff who provided exceptional care.
