Pre-Operative Classes

Yale New Haven Hospital offers free educational classes to patients who are scheduled for hip or knee replacement, hysterectomy, cardiac surgery and others.

These classes are designed to help patients, family members and caregivers better understand what happens during surgery, how to prepare and what to expect during their hospital stay and after discharge
