Katharine Straw, APRN, M.S.N., N.P.-C

Katharine Straw, APRN is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner who has experience providing primary care to adolescents and adults. She graduated from Yale School of Nursing and completed a nurse practitioner primary care residency program at the West Haven VA Medical Center. After completing residency, APRN Straw served as Primary Care Provider at the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in New London, CT. In November 2021, APRN Straw joined University of New Haven Health Services where she provides patient-centered primary care to undergraduate and graduate students at the University of New Haven. She enjoys educating adolescents and young adults about their health and strives to help her patients develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime. She has special interests in preventative care and reproductive health. She is also a Clinical Instructor at Yale School of Nursing.
