Sami Hamdan, MD, specializes in internal medicine and addiction medicine. As an assistant professor in medicine at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Hamdan is involved in research that aims to improve treatment and management strategies for addiction, working to better integrate these insights into primary care practices.

Dr. Hamdan earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, followed by residency and fellowship training in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Center and Yale School of Medicine, respectively.
