Family Surgical Lounge

While you are in the operating room, your family and friends will be asked to wait in the Family Surgical Lounge located on the third floor of the South Pavilion.

A communications associate or nurse will keep them informed about your progress, the length of the procedure and when the surgery is over. They can also answer any questions your visitors may have.

Family and friends over the age of 12 may visit you in the recovery unit, one at a time. Someone from our staff will show them the way. If you will be staying overnight, your visitors will be directed to your hospital room once you are there.
