EP 8-8 earns Capacity Champions Cup

Staff with Observation (EP 8-8) earned their first Capacity Champions Cup for meeting their discharge targets the most days in December. They have set the expectation of continuous safe patient flow and developed a communication infrastructure to support that. The cup is part of Yale New Haven Health’s efforts to improve patient throughput by ensuring that patients who are clinically ready to leave the acute-care setting experience a safe and timely discharge.
