Help make YNHHS Total Rewards better for you!

Yale New Haven Health is committed to providing a competitive Total Rewards program that meets the diverse needs of employees and their families. We want to hear from you on how to make it better! 

All employees are encouraged to share their feedback about the YNHHS Total Rewards program in a survey running Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 22.

The Total Rewards provided for employees is more than just employee pay. It also includes: 

  • A comprehensive benefits program that meets employees’ unique needs 
  • Workplace flexibility to allow balance for work life and personal life
  • Performance feedback and recognition to help with employee growth and career advancement

“Because Yale New Haven Health makes a significant investment in your Total Rewards each year, we want to be sure we’re providing a program that’s valuable to you,” said Melissa Turner, chief human resources officer, YNHHS. “That’s why, for the first time ever, we’re asking for input from you to better understand the Total Rewards programs that you feel are most important. 

“Beginning March 11, you’ll be able to access the YNHHS Total Rewards Survey, which will help us better understand the rewards, benefits and programs you value most and what trade-offs you would be willing to make within YNHHS’s current budget to make our Total Rewards Program better for you.“

In early March, all employees will receive a home mailing with survey details. On March 11, employees will receive an email at their YNHHS email address with the survey link. The survey should take approximately 20 minutes and can be taken from any computer with internet access. Employees will need their employee ID number to access it.

Aon, an external benefits consulting firm, will conduct the survey to ensure confidentiality. YNHHS will not see individual responses – just aggregate responses, which will help leaders review the design of the Total Rewards program.
