YNHH Echocardiography recognized

Yale New Haven Hospital has received a Bronze Milestone award recognizing at least 20 years of accreditation in echocardiography by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). This milestone acknowledges the hospital’s long-term commitment to providing high-quality patient care and ongoing efforts to improve patient outcomes and safety. YNHH’s Echocardiography Department, part of the Heart and Vascular Center (HVC), offers transthoracic and stress testing at its York Street and Saint Raphael campuses and several HVC outpatient locations. Both hospital campuses also perform transesophageal echocardiography. YNHH initially received IAC accreditation for adult echocardiography in 2001.
