Donors’ generosity helps even more nurses advance

At an Oct. 11 ceremony, 13 Yale New Haven Hospital nurses were among 30 from Yale New Haven Health to receive Marna P. Borgstrom and Peter N. Herbert Advanced Nursing Education Scholarships to pursue advanced nursing degrees. The scholarships, funded by the late Dr. Milton and Betty Ruth Hollander, have been awarded to YNHH nurses for the past 13 years. This year they were also presented to nine Greenwich Hospital nurses and eight Bridgeport Hospital nurses.
