Linda C. Mayes, MD, has been named chief of Child Psychiatry at Yale New Haven Children's Hospital and chair of the Child Study Center at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Mayes is the Arnold Gesell Professor of Child Psychiatry, Pediatrics and Psychology in the Child Study Center. She earned her medical degree at Vanderbilt University and completed advanced clinical training in pediatrics and neonatology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Mayes joined Yale School of Medicine in 1982 as a Robert Wood Johnson scholar and has been a member of the Child Study Center faculty since 1985.
