Congratulations, and welcome to the team

The Yale New Haven Hospital Emergency Medicine APP Residency Program celebrated the graduation of its third class of advanced practice providers Dec. 11. Family, friends and colleagues honored Manuel Pabom, PA-C, and Mirofora Paridis, PA-C, for completing the rigorous, 18-month program. Both graduates will stay at YNHH, joining the more than 50 physician associates and nurse practitioners who staff the emergency departments at the York Street and Saint Raphael campuses and Shoreline Medical Center. YNHH’s Emergency Medicine APP Residency Program is one of about 40 nationwide and the first of its kind in Connecticut. At the event, the graduates recognized outstanding attending physicians Reinier Van Tonder, MD, and Anthony Tomassoni, MD; outstanding resident physician Joseph Felice, MD; outstanding PA Stephanie Colella, PA-C; and outstanding ED staff member Joseph DelVecchio, ED technical associate.
