YNHHS breaks ground on a ROC

Yale New Haven Health leaders joined West Haven officials and state legislators Sept. 5 to break ground on a Regional Operations Center (ROC). The 140,000-square-foot ROC will be the central distribution point for supplies for YNHHS hospitals and facilities. The center will also include Pharmacy, Information Technology and Clinical Engineering services. By centralizing supplies and certain support functions, the new center will help the health system operate more efficiently and reduce costs, which will allow YNHHS to provide better value to patients.
