Appointment information

The staff encourages you to make an appointment for compression garments, post surgical bras and camisoles, mastectomy bras and breast prostheses. Scheduling ahead reduces wait time and assures that staff can verify prescription and insurance information. Please note: Not all types of fittings can be made on a walk-in basis.

Many of the items we fit patients for are covered by your insurance. Even if you items are not covered by insurance, our certified fitters need a prescription for proper fitting.

Reminder: A prescription does not guarantee coverage of listed item or listed quantity.

This is an example of a correctly written prescription for breast prostheses, camisoles and mastectomy bras:

Breast prosthesis for (right, left, bilateral) and (quantity), prosthetic bras for (diagnosis with ICD code) and (quantity).

This is an example of a correctly written prescription for lymphedema garment:

Compression garment for (arm, hand gauntlet or glove, knee high, thigh high), (right, left, bilateral) for (diagnosis with ICD code), compression of (amount of pressure specified by doctor, generally 20-30mg or 30-40mg) and (quantity).

Patients with active lymphedema must be under the supervision of a medical professional to be fitted for lymphadema garments.

Unfortunately, we cannot see patients with open surgical wounds or drains. You will need to schedule an appointment after you are completely healed and skin is intact.
