Yale New Haven Hospital offers convenient access to skilled specialist and advanced healthcare treatments closer to home at Shoreline Medical Center. Shoreline Medical Center features outpatient healthcare services including blood draw, medical imaging, endoscopy, pain management, same-day outpatient surgery, heart and vascular services and a Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center. There is also a full-service emergency department onsite staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We offer around-the-clock emergency care for adults and children with acute and urgent illnesses and injuries. The department is staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians and physician assistants, as well as advanced practice nurses and technicians. Emergency services are supported by onsite diagnostic radiology and laboratory medicine.
We work seamlessly with Yale New Haven Hospital to transfer patients when a higher level of trauma care is required.

Radiology and Biomedical Imaging
Shoreline Medical Center offers advanced diagnostic radiology services including CT scan, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), fluoroscopy, X-ray, bone density and 3-D mammography. Same-day appointments and evening hours are available for patient convenience.

Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center
Radiation oncology services at this location will close for renovations beginning Dec. 3 for approximately two months. New patient consults will continue at this facility. Current patients on treatment and new patients requiring treatment will be given the option to receive therapy at one of our other locations in Hamden

Comprehensive cancer services are available onsite, including consultation, screening, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up care. Smilow Cancer Hospital and Yale Cancer Center specialists are available in medical oncology, hematology, surgical oncology subspecialties, radiation oncology, breast oncology and other disease specialties.
