Lynn Peckham, APRN, pediatric nurse practitioner, Yale New Haven Hospital, has been named 2019 School Based Health Center Provider of the Year by the Connecticut Association of School Based Health Centers. Peckham has worked in school-based health centers for 32 of her 49 years in nursing, starting at Bassick High School in Bridgeport, then moving to New Haven's first elementary school center, at Katherine Brennan School. She has been nurse practitioner at the center in Mauro-Sheridan School in New Haven since 1997. After earning her associate degree in nursing, Peckham worked in pediatrics at YNHH. She returned to school, earning her BSN from the University of Bridgeport and, later, her MSN from Yale School of Nursing.
