Blue and green were everywhere

Throughout April, Yale New Haven Hospital celebrated National Donate Life Month with a series of events. Staff and guests attended the Donate Life flag-raising, and tables were set up at each campus with information about organ donation. Many people at YNHH also sported Donate Life colors on Wear Blue and Green Day April 12, including a number who posed for a photo in front of the Tree of Life wall sculpture outside the Transplantation and Liver unit. Also in April, YNHH received the United States Health Resources and Services Administration platinum recognition award for participation in and promotion of organ donation. Thanks to everyone who helped make Donate Life Month a success.
