Ryan Davis


Ryan Davis has been named director of Operations and Finance for Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and Women’s Services. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating program development, clinical redesign and operations for YNHCH and Women’s Services. He also has direct operational responsibility for the Pediatric Epilepsy Program and Sleep Centers at the New Haven and Bridgeport campuses. Davis joined YNHHS in 2009 as a financial analyst and has held a series of positions, most recently associate director for Strategy, Program Development and Finance for YNHCH and Women’s Services. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, from Western New England College and his MS in healthcare administration/management from the University of New Haven.

Alan Friedman, MD; Joni Hansson, MD; Sandip Mukherjee, MD 


Alan Friedman, MD, has been named chief medical experience officer for Yale New Haven Health. In this role, he will provide medical leadership for the patient experience and physician experience. Dr. Friedman is a professor of pediatrics (cardiology) at Yale School of Medicine and will continue to oversee the Medical Staff Professionalism Peer Review Process and CLEAR (Communication Leads to EArly Resolution) Program. He joined Yale New Haven Hospital in 1991 as a pediatric cardiology fellow and has served in a number of roles, including president of the YNHH Medical Staff, director of the Pediatric Residency Program and interim chief of Pediatric Cardiology. He was most recently medical director for Medical Affairs, YNHH. Dr. Friedman earned his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his pediatric residency at Children's Memorial Hospital/ Northwestern University in Chicago.

Joni Hansson, MD, has been named medical director for Medical Staff Communication, YNHHS. In her new role, she will collaborate with clinical leadership to develop a robust physician engagement and communication plan. Dr. Hansson is a clinical nephrologist with Metabolism Associates, associate professor of clinical medicine at Yale School of Medicine and past president of the YNHH Medical Staff. She earned her medical degree from Yale University and completed her internal medicine residency and nephrology fellowship training at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Sandip Mukherjee, MD, has been named executive medical director for Complex Medical Care and Concierge Medicine. In this new role, he will work with Yale Medicine, Northeast Medical Group and community physician leadership to build a comprehensive concierge medicine practice. He will also work with clinical leadership to ensure the appropriate management of complex patients. Dr. Mukherjee is medical director of the Aortic Institute at YNHH and associate professor of clinical medicine at Yale School of Medicine. He was most recently medical director of Physician Liaison Services, Office of the Chief Medical Officer. He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University, and completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship training at YNHH.
