Welcome, student nurses

This summer, student nurses from academic institutions throughout the U.S. are working at Yale New Haven Hospital to improve their understanding of the professional nurse’s role. Interns are working for 10 weeks in various service lines, learning clinical skills by providing patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and attending patient care conferences and team rounds. YNHH’s student nurse interns this summer are from 16 schools.
