The Endoscopy Center - North Haven offers a wide range of outpatient endoscopic procedures which are nonsurgical treatments used to examine a person's digestive tract. Using an endoscope, a flexible tube with a light and camera attached to it, a physician can view inside a patient’s digestive tract on a monitor.
The center offers endoscopic procedures including:
- Upper Endoscopy (e.g. for gastric reflux disease, ulcers and celiac)
- Capsule endoscopy (patient swallows a capsule for the examination)
- Endoscopic motility assessment
- Breath testing for lactose, lactulose and urea
Physician referral needed.
