Leaders in Nursing Innovation

Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Committee

YNHH’s Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Committee helps teams of nurses engage in evidence-based practice and research projects that positively affect nursing practice at YNHH and beyond. The committee also helps nurses disseminate project results at local and national conferences. A number of YNHH nurses have received national and international awards for their scholarly work, and most go on to publish in peer-reviewed journals.

Janet Parkosewich Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Conference

Each year, in collaboration with Yale School of Nursing, Yale New Haven holds the JP NREBP Conference to provide a venue for dissemination of the scholarly work of YNHH nurses. Research and Evidence Based Practice Awards are given during the conference.

Innovation Fellowship – Johnson & Johnson

A team of YNHH nurses joined CNO Ena Williams and Executive Director Jeannette Bronsord on an innovation team, receiving mentorship on innovation and solving clinical problems from the point of service.

This Innovative, Boundary-Breaking CNO Encourages Nurses of Color to Dream Big
