Hyperbaric Medicine (Wound Care)
Yale New Haven Hospital does not offer Hyperbaric Medicine, but we are pleased to refer patients to our Yale New Haven Health partners, Bridgeport Hospital, Greenwich Hospital, and Lawrence + Memorial Hospital.
At Bridgeport Hospital, the Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine provides hyperbaric oxygen therapy and multi-disciplinary treatment of chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers, burns, scars, ostomies and many other types of slow-to-heal injuries.
At Greenwich Hospital, the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Healing offers two innovative services: specialized wound care for patients with stubborn wounds that have resisted conventional treatments; and a hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) unit.
At the L+M Wound + Hyperbaric Center, available treatment options include: debridement; compression wrapping; total contact cast; tissue and cellular-based therapy; negative-pressure therapy; advanced wound dressings; and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
In addition, Wound Management and Infectious Disease Services are offered at Yale New Haven Hospital Saint Raphael Campus.
