Yale New Haven Health announces completion of acquisition of Nelson Ambulance and Affiliates

New Haven, CT (Nov. 17, 2025) – Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) today announced the closing of its transaction to acquire Nelson Ambulance and its affiliates – Access Ambulance Service, Connecticut Handivan and The Limo Group. Staff and media attended the integration celebration which was held at Nelson’s North Haven facility on Quinnipiac Avenue.
