Oncology Medication Assistance Program
Patients with cancer face many challenges: physical, emotional and financial. The Yale New Haven Health Oncology Medication Assistance Program (MAP) was launched in 2010 to help patients with high out-of-pocket costs to afford their chemotherapy and cancer care medications.
MAP coordinators collaborate across the Yale New Haven Health System to enroll patients in manufacturer and foundation funded medication assistance programs. This allows our patients to focus on their physical and mental health, rather than the burden of their medical expenses. This program directly supports Yale New Haven Health System’s Vision of “enhancing the lives of those we serve by providing access to integrated, high-value, patient-centered care in collaboration with others who share our values.”
