Oncology Medication Assistance Program

Patients with cancer face many challenges: physical, emotional and financial. The Smilow Oncology Medication Assistance Program helps patients that are uninsured, under-insured, self pay, experiencing high co-pays or have no prescription coverage for their chemotherapy and cancer care medications.

This program helps patients navigate the pharmaceutical companies assistance and co-pay programs, along with patient advocacy organizations. Options can also include the use of the hospital's Prescription Assistance (340B) Program. A team approach includes working with patient account representatives, physicians, pharmacist, nurses and social workers.

Patients should set up an appointment with one of the medication assistance coordinators or email Charles Lynch. Appointments are usually scheduled between 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday. Weekend and after-hours appointments are available.
